The Barony of Grey Niche, located in Memphis, TN, is a local chapter of an international organization dedicated to the research and recreation of pre-17th century European history called the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA).

It is a not-for-profit, educational organization wherein the members learn from "hands on" participation and conduct classes and/or demonstrations where they teach others what they have learned.

Loaner Garb Needed

Grey Niche needs loaner garb. If anyone has costumes, etc., that they no longer use it would be awesome if they could bring the clothes to next week's meeting (April 22) or to Beltaine.

The group could use any size and type of costume and any accessories you might have. It would be a great help. To better assist with the collection, it may be helpful to bag/tag as men's/women's/child's; and with a general size of S, M, L, XL, etc.

Also, please make sure any donations are clean.

Grey Niche Baron Stepping Down

His Excellency, Geoffrey de Bradelei, Baron of Grey Niche announced at Candlemas Collegium, Feb. 2, 2008, that he will be stepping down at Beltain 2008.

THL Dagan al-Mahdi ibn Yusuf ibn Hilal & THL Mahsheed Leily will be our next Baron and Baroness of Grey Niche. Hazzah!
