Contests
Each team – a champion and a consort - will receive a scorecard for keeping up with points throughout the day. At the end of the contests, all scorecards will be turned in and the top 16 will be announced for competition in the final tournament of the day.
Prospective consorts will be identified with a yellow ribbon – champions with black – live weapons with red – rapier with blue – youth combat with green.
Score one point for creating a team. Score an additional point if this combatant has never championed this consort before in a tournament.
A & S – anything related to or depicting a tournament – Patron: Crystal of Tyson
For Champions and Consorts - Score one point for each team member entering the Arts & Sciences Competition. Score additional points for each team member placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in each Arts & Sciences Category.

Best Tribute to a Consort Contest – Patron: Lady Amelia van Hemessen
For Champions, during the Court of Love you will be asked to declare who you have chosen as consort. Do it in style and tell us how that person inspires you this day - Score one point for sponsoring someone to enter the Tribute Competition for you (hire a troubadour). Score two points for entering the Tribute Competition yourself. Score additional points for placing in the competition.
Bowling/Bocce – Patron: House Telemark
For Consorts - Score one point for entering the Bowling Competition. Score additional points for placing in the competition.
Footraces– Patron: Lady Kathleen O'Ceallaig
For Consorts - Score one point for entering the footraces. Score additional points for placing
in the competition.
Youth Combat – Patron: Duchess Heather of Tyson
For Team - Score one point for sponsoring someone to enter the Youth Combat Tournament for you (or fight yourself). More than one team may sponsor each Youth Fighter. Score one point for giving a personal token to your Youth Fighter. Score additional points for your Youth Fighter placing in the competition.
Live Weapons – both archery and thrown weapons– Patrons: In honor of Dame Brenna Lowri o'Ruthin by her protege's Lord Jakob Gempl von Essen and Viscountess Miriel du Bois
For Team - Score one point for sponsoring someone to entering the Archery Tournament for you (or participate yourself). More than one team may sponsor each live weapons participant. Score one point for giving a personal token to your live weapons participant. Score additional points for your live weapons participant placing in the competition.
Best Period Encampment Contest – Patron: Shadowlegion
This household will pick their favorite throughout the weekend. Bring out your best.
Rapier Combat – Patron: House Bearkiller
For Team - Score one point for sponsoring someone to entering the Rapier Tournament for you (or fight yourself). More than one team may sponsor each Rapier Fighter. Score one point for giving a personal token to your Rapier Fighter. Score additional points for your Rapier Fighter placing in the competition.
Best Period Crest Contest – Patron: House of Three Dragons
For Champions - Score one point for entering the Period Crest Competition. Score additional points for placing in the competition. These crests are not the ones to be worn on the helm for the Crest Tournament.
Crest Tournament– Patron: House of Three Dragons
For Champions - Score one point for entering the Crest Tournament. Score one point for each crest of an opponent you knock off during the tournament. Score additional points for placing in the tournament. Please see the Marshalls on the field for restrictions on attaching your crest to your helmet for this tournament.

For Champions - Score one point for entering the Bear Pit Tournament. Score additional points for winning multiple bouts in a row and keeping the Pit.

For Champions - Score one point for entering the Great Weapons Tournament. Score additional points for placing in the tournament.
Extra points
Members of the gallery & combatants (everybody attending) may award extra points to those they see displaying extraordinary chivalry throughout the day – be it on the field or on the sidelines. The List Table will provide paper & pen for the recommending of extra points.
